Call for Papers
Articles on any topic related to pre-1600 names, heraldry, and scribal arts are now being accepted for the proceedings volume of the 2008 Known World Heraldic and Scribal Symposium, to be held in Drachenwald in September 2008. Submissions are accepted from anyone, whether they will be able to attend the symposium or not, but we particularly encourage those who intend to teach at the symposium to prepare their class notes and handouts into something which can be included in the proceedings.
The proceedings editor is Aryanhwy merch Catmael, Albion Herald of Drachenwald. Proposals, abstracts, inquiries, and papers should be sent to her at xc.sispille|anail#xc.sispille|anail. Further informationabout the proceedings volume can be found in the KWHSS'08 wiki at http://kwhs2008.wikidot.com/proceedings, specifically in the Author's Guidelines.
Full papers are due to Aryanhwy by 15 June 2008 to allow sufficient time for type-setting and return of proofs to the authors for review before the proceedings go to print.
There is a list of papers and proposals received so far.
